A vintage set of 1930s, Japanese high gloss crackle glaze salt and pepper shakers in the shape of ducks. Made in Japan. A fun pair of mallards for your table!
Signs of age, use, wear present. No working corks present - one shaker (the pepper shaker) does not have a cork present; one shaker (salt shaker) has a cork inside the shaker.
Markings:
- Marked on base of each shaker, "Japan"
Measurements:
- Height - approx. 3" inches tall
- Base Diameter - approx. 1 1/2" long x 1 1/4" inches wide, irregular shaped base
Condition:
- Signs of age, use, wear present
- No chips or cracks visible
- Crackle glaze finish throughout entirety of both shakers
- No working corks present - one shaker (the pepper shaker) does not have a cork present; one shaker (salt shaker) has a cork inside the shaker. -
