A well built, wheel thrown, studio pottery pitcher in a tan and reddish brown, high gloss glaze with lid. A beautiful, solid piece of studio pottery.
Light signs of wear -- light roughness in the glaze on the lip of the pitcher and wear on inside of pitcher at the bottom.. See Condition Notes below.
Exact date of production unknown. 20th Century.
Measurements:
- Height: approx. 8” inches tall
- Width: approx. 8" inches wide, including the handle
- Base Diameter: right under 4” inches round
Markings:
- Unsigned
Condition:
- Very good, original condition
- No chips or cracks
- Light roughness in the glaze on the lip of the pitcher - it appears the glaze did not fully cover the pitcher lip during the firing process
- Wear on inside of pitcher at the bottom -
