An original, mid-century, watercolor painting of a mature woman in a kimono jacket. Painting is signed by artist and dated, December 1953. Work is mounted to exterior, paper frame. Overall good condition for work of art on paper.
Dated December 1953. Work is unframed.
Signs of age, wear present on paper – please see Condition Report listed below.
Markings:
- Signed, Marian Nieuwenhuizen in lower right hand corner of painting
- Unsure of spelling of artist’s first and last name
- Surname is of Dutch origin

- Original vintage condition with signs of wear present
- Signs of age, wear, to surface of paper frame (the kraft brown color paper; please see photos for detail shots)
