This beautiful pottery cup is art pottery from Lorna Meaden's studio in Durango, CO. Featuring a crackle glaze finish, this piece could be used for display on its own, floral arrangements, for corralling your favorite writing utensils, or for its intended use as a cup!
Exact date of production unknown.
Markings:
- "LORN" along the edge at the base. See photos #8 & 9.
Measurements:
- Height: approx. 4.25"
- Base Diameter: 2.5"
- Diameter of Opening at the Top: approx. 3.5"
Condition:
- Original condition with age related wear present on entire piece
- A couple of minor spots of discoloration visible on the interior. See photo #6.
- Glaze skips present along the underneath of the interior lip. See photo #5.
- Crackle glaze pattern present on entire piece
- Glaze is lighter in several areas of the exterior of the cup. See photos #1-3.
- Base of piece is not glazed. See photo #9. -
