Dansk Kongo Teaspoon: SOLD PER SPOON

$80.00
  • Vintage Dansk teaspoons in the pattern, Kongo. Price is for one teaspoon; 8 available. Similar in style to the Dansk pattern, Fjord (Quistgaard’s iconic teak handled flatware pattern), Kongo is a classic mid-century modern flatware pattern. Designed by Danish industrial designer, Jens Quistgaard (1919-2008), Kongo flatware was introduced by the company, Dansk Designs, in the 1950s and was in production through the early 1960s.

Each teaspoon (sold individually) is in very good condition, with little to no signs of use. (Please see Condition Report listed below).

Original production in the early years of Dansk Designs (mid-1950s to mid-1960s) was in Germany, Denmark, Finland, and Norway before moving overseas to Japan and later other countries. Quistgaard designed flatware, dinnerware, furniture, and much more for 3+ decades and by the early 1980s had designed over 2,000 household objects for the company.

Each teaspoon is marked “Dansk Designs Germany + IHQ + ©”.

Handle Finish: Black Matte Nylon (not a high shine finish on handle)

    Flatware is NOT dishwasher safe.
