A 1930s, Japanese made ceramic, raised compote dish featuring a brightly colored arrangement of fruit against a basket weave background with gold detailing on the rim. High gloss crackle glaze finish.
Signs of age, use, wear present. Please read Condition Report below.
Exact date of production unknown. Circa 1935.
Markings:
- "Japan" in red lettering on base
Measurements:
- Height - right over 4" inches tall
- Interior Opening - right under 4 1/4" inches round
- Base Diameter - approx. 3 1/4" inch round base
Condition:
- Signs of age, use, wear present
- Crackle glaze finish (please view photos in detail)
- Wear to paint/ finish throughout in various spots - specifically, to the rim area and gold detailing (please view photos in detail)
